Ellen’s articles and books on elder care, self-care, women's roles and spirituality, and her travels and volunteer work strike a chord in many midlife women.   

Ellen has a Master of Arts degree in Counseling, and has been trained as a North Star Coach by Dr. Martha Beck, author of Finding Your Own North Star and monthly contributor to O, The Oprah Magazine. With 25 years' experience as a coach, counselor and social worker, and as a midlife woman, mother and caregiver for her own mother, Ellen is uniquely qualified to guide and support women.
